foreverliberal: A district court judge ruled Wednesday that the Defense of Marriage Act discriminated against married same sex couples and violated the Constitution’s guarantee of equal protection under the law. Some day soon, marriage equality will be a reality in all 50 states (even Texas, although it’s hard to believe thinking about it!). LGBT community — it continues to get better, all of the time, regardless of the hate that the right wing keeps throwing at us. Keep fighting the good fight, and don’t give up hope — especially for those in more conservative communities.  Via miscellaneous
